The MMS 6620 Analog Input card is part of the MMS 6000 machine monitoring system. At today's supervision of machines, the integration of external signals such as temperature, pressure, generator power etc. into postconnected visualization and analysis tools are getting more and more important. The MMS 6620 Analog Input Card provides these data.
The analog input signals are digitized on the card and provided to post-connected diagnosis / analysis tools via the RS 485 bus. Beside this, the input channels are supervised on their ok-state by means of the channel clear supervision function. Errors will be indicated via binary outputs. Moreover, the card has 8 alarm channels with binary outputs, which can individually be assigned to the input channels.
The MMS 6620 monitor is equipped with four galvanically separated current outputs, which convert the input signals into standard output signals (0/4…20mA). The configuration of the MMS 6620 Analog Input card is made via a RS 232 interface on the module front.
