The AI880/AI880A High Integrity Analog Input Module is TÜV certified for IEC 61508 SIL3, and EN 954-1 Category 4.

The AI880/AI880A has 8 analog inputs. The channels are for current input. The module has advanced on-board diagnostics. It can be used in both single and redundant configuration.

The AI880/AI880A complies with the NAMUR recommendation NE43, and supports configurable over- and under range limits. AI880A has support for HART pass-through communication. Nominal input range is 0(4)...+20mA.

The AO820 Bipolar Analog Output Module has 4 bipolar current or voltage outputs. 

The choice of either current or voltage output is configurable per channel. Outputs are individually galvanically isolated. State of outputs can be set to a predetermined (OSP) value if a communication error is detected. Nominal output range are: -20... +20 mA, 0(4)... +20 mA, -10... +10 V, 0(2)... +10 V.
